Courses Offered

IMI Bhubaneswar offers two courses: Post graduate diploma in management and a fellow programme in management. Both programmes are aimed at preparing students for challenging career roles. Through these courses, IMI strives to inculcate managerial abilities in students.

Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)

It is a two-year course designed to prepare students across disciplines to grow in their careers. The college follows a trimester system, with the academic year commencing from June. PGDM is spread over 6 trimesters. A compulsory summer training for 8-10 weeks in industries is provided as a part of the course.

 

Several elective courses are available for students to choose in their 2nd year for specialization.

Fellow Program in Management (FPM)

FPM is a 4-year course extendable by 1 year, wherein students will pursue 2 years of rigorous coursework. Students who have completed their MBA/PGDM are exempted from 1 year of coursework. 

 

The students have to work on their doctoral thesis in the second phase of their study. Extensive research facilities with several areas to choose from are available. 

FPM Fellow Program in Management Fee structure INR 6.62 Lakhs (4 instalments) Eligibility Postgraduate or equivalent with a minimum 60% aggregate or professional qualification like CA, CS, or CWA with a minimum of 60% aggregate.
